The fun has begun. Thursday we said good-bye to Grace and Peyton and headed toward Oak Ridge making a stop at
McDonalds for lunch. Then over 40 to Nashville to begin our travels on the Natchez Trace Parkway
(this is 40 through the mountains) After we found the parkway we had to start looking for a place for the night
We chose this campground and started on our way to there. The directions took us down a dirt road that looked like a driveway that was only one lane. A car came at us so as we slowed down and gave her as much room as we could an older black man came toward us asking if we were looking for the campground which we said yes and he said you found it. It was just a big field, but if we wanted to park near the barn he would hook us up with electricity. So we did
The next to last picture is of Sams house. There is a field, then a road, then up to the top of the hill is the house. He drives a school bus during the day, the one parked there is his. He had a big black dog named Diesel, wish I had gotten a picture of him. He wanted to play but he was just so big, Sam said his grandkids had ruined him lol. About midnight Diesel decided he didn't want us there so he stood outside the trailer barking. If I yelled at him to be quiet he would until we made a noise then he started in again. Soon Sam came and took him home.
